Supporting you to rapidly overcome chronic anxiety, stress and emotional overwhelm, regain your joy in life and have the tools to prevent life experiences from taking a negative hold in the future are my reasons for being a Therapeutic Coach.

 

Whether it’s in the workplace or at home, chronic anxiety, stress and overwhelming emotions can result in impaired living.

 

Having worked in International organisations, small companies and with individuals I have seen the effects of chronic anxiety, stress and trauma related emotional overwhelm on individuals, teams, managers & their families.

It was this and my own experience of ‘burn out’ that led me into finding ways of supporting people and organisations that:  

  • Helped individuals back into their lives, their work and their personal relationships with joy, enthusiasm and added resilience.
  • Did not involve long drawn out interventions, 
  • Targeted the underlying issues 
  • Could be taken on board by individuals and organisations to improve well being.

 

I am an experienced coach, with additional skills as a master practitioner in neurolinguistic programming, a hypnotherapist and now have the wonderful tools of Havening, which have given me a way of working with the effects of trauma without the need to delve into the underlying event.

This is a godsend to clients who don’t want to talk about the traumatic event yet again, just be rid of it’s hold on them.

 

I blend these techniques into Therapeutic Coaching, providing a safe, non judgemental space, a listening ear and a client centred approach to releasing the past and transferring the control back into your hands. 

Working through a variety of on-line platforms or in person, I will guide you through: 

  • understanding why you feel the way you do; 
  • rapidly releasing those emotions, thoughts or beliefs that have been holding you back; 
  • finding your own unique path forward and 
  • learning the simple tools to manage your own equilibrium in the future.

 

I can also support organisations with prevention and resolving of the adverse effects of anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm and toxic environments, through interactive workshops (in person and online), & 1:1 sessions with individuals, at home or in the workplace setting, via zoom / teams.

 

Prevention focuses on promoting

  • understanding what causes anxiety, stress and emotional overwhelm
  • understanding the effects of your natural stress and ‘trauma’ responses on your mind and body
  • simple ways/behaviours to create an environment that is low stress
  • simple individual actions for self-regulation of emotions in the workplace & at home

 

1:1 interventions to support employees in work or back to work

  • Agreeing the desired outcome (e.g. feeling less triggered or less emotional (i.e. angry / tearful etc); having energy and enthusiasm; feeling ‘well’; going back to work; being able to make presentations / lead client meetings / take the promotion etc)
  • 4 intervention sessions to gain equilibrium and be able to move forward.
  • A suite of simple self administered techniques to prevent stress build up in the future.
  • Laser support for three months if requested (short, when needed, remote coaching to maintain progress & support long term resilience.)

Positive effects persist & Havening helps wellbeing for shift worker

I am a mother of 3 young boys and my job involves shift work. Gill was recommended to me by my sister-in-law. I didn't know much about havening in advance but was open to it.

Emotionally and physically debilitating memory losses it's hold

I had a specific experience in the past that continued to be triggered, impacting me both emotionally and physically. On occasion I couldn't walk.

Havening did 2 things for me that are profound.

It changed the impact of that original experience. It remains in my memory, but I instantly know I'm not reliving it. The dry throat and shortness of breath are no more. And I've experienced the trigger and nothing happened. Nada!


What a surprise that a modality can be so effective so quickly. And I've used various modalities, including therapy, in the past.

I also use havening on myself to create a positive, grounded feeling and support myself when I need it.

Havening is a super-power that everyone - adults and kids alike, should all know about.

Overwhelmed, Overthinking & need to be in control lest 'everything will go wrong'.. to calm, released and open to sharing in one session

Thank you so much for yesterday. I felt like a weight had been lifted when I left and it allowed me to come home and speak to my husband about the things I had been holding in for so long.
I know I will find the techniques useful and calming. You put me at ease and your wonderful home feels like a haven in itself.
I have been thinking about things from a different perspective and just need to make sure I keep focussed on getting the most out of a lighter and happier way of life now.
